What's all this then?
This is the homepage for charlie harvey. I use it for everyday admin and checking the news, as well as publishing files I've written.
Its in the process of being redesigned at the moment. New features include a total redesign, latest writings box, and the Pages section, which is like a CMS and allows me easily to add webpages to the site.
Short attention span?
- Look at the about page for navel gazing and information about the site.
- Check out the newsfeeds page to find out what's going on in the world
- Take action on climate change — come to the Climate Camp in mid-August.
- The writings page has stuff that I'm writing about and coding at the moment. Keep up to date with it using the RSS feed.
- The Pages section contains pages that I've written. A bit like a blog.
- There's a gallery of photos I've taken and artwork I've made.
- If you're really bored why not play space invaders?
Shouts out
- charlie harvey dot org is hosted at the excellent domainsrush which means I can use perl and php for interactive stuff.
- The search at the top of the page uses Gigablast's xml sitesearch to search this site.
- I've used a hacked about version of Slooze, and some perl mischief to manage my photos.
- Finally, I think Vim is the bestest text editor a chap could want.
Thanks for reading,
Charlie
